Chapter One Wellness is an integrative medical practice in Globe-Miami, AZ, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through a holistic approach. We are seeking an energetic, personable, and professional Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, Patient Care Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. We uphold high standards of practice and are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment to excellence.

Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Benefited (Approximately 32 - 36 hours per week)
Schedule: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM, 4 days per week
Probation Period: 90 days
Starting Rate of Pay: Depends on education and experience. Opportunity for raises after probationary period on an annual schedule based on skill and development.
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a welcoming personality and a positive attitude to perform both front office and back office duties. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness and a willingness to learn integrative medical practices.
Responsibilities

Front Office Duties:
-
Open the office punctually and occasionally close the office.

Welcome patients warmly, answer phones, and schedule appointments.

Manage product inventory, patient check-outs, and payment processing.
-
Protect patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations for personal, health, and financial information.

Create visually appealing content using Canva for patient education materials and promotional materials.

Manage and update the practice’s social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) to engage with the community and enhance our online presence.

Back Office Duties:
-
Collect patient vitals, height, weight, and perform procedures such as blood sugar tests, urinalyses, injections, infusions, aesthetic procedures such as hydrafacials and chemical peels (training provided).

Record patient data accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (training provided).

Perform light cleaning to maintain a tidy and professional environment.

Required Education
-
High School graduate.
-
Current MA or Phlebotomy Certificate.
-

Willingness to learn medical procedures such as venipuncture, vital signs, and injections.

Willingness and desire to learn aesthetic treatments such as hydrafacials.

Interest in health and living a healthy lifestyle.

Some knowledge of Integrative, Functional, or Naturopathic Medicine.
Job Requirements

Business experience.

Clean background check.

Proficiency in Canva (or similar platform) for creating professional designs.

Experience managing social media platforms for a business or organization.

Strong typing skills (minimum 50 WPM with high accuracy).

Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Well-developed verbal, electronic, and written communication skills, including proofreading and writing.

Product knowledge (training provided, willingness to learn required as much of the product training is online).
Physical Requirements

Ability to meet the physical demands of an active position, including extended periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and sitting.

Manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, and visual abilities (depth perception, ocular focus, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision).

Adequate hearing to perform daily tasks.

Ability to adjust physically and emotionally to a spontaneous, fast-paced, and hectic environment in a new facility with expected growth.
